Poetry - Sports Imagery
This series of lessons looks at the way language is used to create effects on the reader/listener. Pupils go on to write their own poem, finding strong images to draw the reader in, adding rich detail and using simile, alliteration and onomatopoeia to make the poetry exciting to listen to.
