We are pleased to announce a brand new unit for teachers of younger pupils - Simple Addition and Subtraction
These lessons and resources go back to basics with very simple counting on and counting back exercises. Some of the lessons use little story contexts to show the meaning of addition and subtraction in terms of adding or taking away from a group of objects. Others use dice in simple games, for example moving a counter up and down a number line. Finally, this unit makes use of some of our popular skills games from the Skill builders section of the website - fun practice games for use in the computer suite, in the classroom or at home.
