An activity for reading and spelling words with the phase 2, double letter, single phoneme endings ck , ff , ll and ss

In this "game" version, make words with the ending provided. Reset the game for a different ending.

Ask children to try lots of letter combinations to a CVCC pattern. Which words are real, which are made up? Which are easy to sound out, which aren't?

Why are the letters separated? What is special about the ones at the bottom of the screen?
